Its just the second day of winter and I hope that it ends, or it fast forward just a bit. The cold winds start to blow in and sometimes it creeps into your clothes. Australia may not be cold during winter compared to the northern hemisphere counterparts, but darn, they have cold, freezing winds. Because it is an island, there is always a constant gust of cold sea and land breeze from time to time.
And most of the time, because the temperature is not that low, people just tend to put on a jacket only, just an extra piece. No one really bulks up in terms of clothes because its just not how it is here. Sometimes, I dont even have a jacket, but the only part of me that feels like ice are my hands and feet.
But as winter slowly creeps in, my whole body starts to lose its body heat. This just proves that I am not a cold blooded animal! hahaha... Having coming from a tropical country, I am so bad at layering, but I am slowly, slowly learning... and I need more money on winter clothing... hahaha... I really have to restock.. I wear the same jacket day in day out.. hahaha.. BORING!
So mama, if you are reading this... I need new jackets... My layering sucks!
