I had a blast this entire Easter weekend. All the way! It got better and better, even on Easter Monday although there was a little "annoying" part. And Tuesday was also awesome minus some of my self causing "annoying" parts. HAHAHAHA!
Anyway, throughout the entire weekend which include Friday, it was full on! There was no time to loose as everything that weekend meant a lot to me.
On Friday,
I was at the morning service and boy was that 1 hour special service just so worth going. And as for the afternoon, it was a day at Darling Harbour with Jess, Wendy and Mindi. Yup outing with the girls to meet more girls whom at least brought a long 2 guys, actually there was 1 guy but he had to call another male friend to accompany so he wont feel awkward. Anyway, that afternoon as awesome, the sun was shinning well, it was a warm day and the parade and stuff around Darling Harbour created a really worth while atmosphere. It was definitely packed.
On Saturday,
I had a day out with my friends and went to watch Pink Panther 2! That movie was just ok, wasnt too good nor too bad. Just that it would have been better on DVD or something. I even brought a friend back to West Pennant Hills to enjoy the joyous occasion of Easter at Hillsong Church. We are not suppose to be selfish - got to share the fun with others.
On Sunday,
Woke up for the morning service. Normally I would be doing Kids, but since my friend was here, I accompanied him into the service and had to come out midway to help out at the busy times for Kids. He came to watch and at the same time help a little bit. It was really cool having a friend around! Went back for some Wii showdown and some Zs. After that, we went for the Easter Arts and Films Festival with Wendy. The art work was nice and the films were touching. Some of the 5 minute short films nearly put a tear in my eyes. There is another Euphoric moment during the service that came after the Festival. Not only did we get to praise and sing awesome songs, I got to witness something really really meaningful to me happen right before me... shhh, not telling!(due to respect)
After that awesome, out of the world service, we went for a little or should I say BIG dinner at Bavarian Bier Cafe which serves really good German food. Yummm.
On Monday,
Came down to the city to meet Jason and go to the Easter Show with his friends. It was really boring as the start as we were looking at all this boring stuff until we arrived at the Carnival! That was the place I wanted to be, to have a little thrill and to have a spanking fun time. But the annoying part came when it started pouring. At first it was bareable but then the rain got heavier and heavier that all the people there started taking shelter in the show rooms. After spending some hours in the rain, trying to play and ignore the rain, we had to give in and run for cover. It was so hard as 3 people had to share an umbrella, leaving us ALL soaking wet.
The horror came when I started to have a headache and started to catch a mild cold and I didnt even had a jacket nor dry clothes. And we had to run to the train station that was a like freaking far. And had to go back early as we actually planed to watch some of the shows like the Extreme Bikes and Fireworks but then we didnt feel and cant stay any longer!
Even back at the city, I had to try to stay ok in my a little much drier clothes and sit through dinner. Got back home(was staying in the city), cleaned up and rest.
On Tuesday,
Went out with some of my Unimates for a movie, 17 Again starring Zac Effron.. Well, to be honest I dont quite like Zac as he is a total pretty boy, yea, you might think I am jealous, but I mean come on, he is just using his face to get where he is, think about it, he so didnt earn being on the Oscars this year. Hahaha, anyway, the movie wasnt bad as the plot was ok.
After that we went Karaoke and scream our lungs out to heaps of songs. It was really fun. I really love singing eventhough I know I'm no where good at it.
It was about 7 when my friends had to leave and I had a date with Liang and Jason(my cousins) and we had dinner at Pepper Lunch. Soon after, they said they had planned for a movie and was going to watch 17 Again! I was like no, I'm not going to watch 17 Again AGAIN! hahaha, but he already had planned it and his friends had already agreed to it.
At one point I kinda got a little annoyed and paranoid as I didnt want to go back yet, but all that emotions and all was just self caused. It was really stupid of me. I guess its just my old self, which I think I gotta change. Need to do some reflecting. Really need to change!
