Today is a day where I will look back and laugh about it when I talk about it again, especially with the people who were involved and I can tell you that there was heaps of people involved in it.
It all started right before class was about to end, only a few more minutes left on the clock when one by one some of the students, including me, rushed out of class to get some stuff done.
Soon as everyone was ready and stood by the door, the lights of the classroom were dimmed and everyone started to sing happy birthday to a special someone. The expression on her face was really surprise and it got even more ecstatic when she realised that the surprise did not end with a single cake, but came in through the door was bags after bags of food stuff and presents. We had 2 dozen Krispy Kreme donuts, 1 almond cake, 1 chocolate cake with 48 candles lighted, heaps of assorted chocolate(A REALLY HUGE BUNCH), jelly with Logan, drinks, junk food AND PARTY HATS!
The atmosphere was just awesome as everyone say with such enthusiasm and joy. The expression on her face was just priceless, the smile, the giggles, the eye contact where you can tell she was happy, she was thankful.
To impress us, with one gulp of air, she blew of all the 48 candles! The how hype escalated to a peak where everyone was cheering and jeering! She was about to cut the cake when something backfired, but in a hilarious way!
AN EMERGENCY HAS BEEN INITIATED PLEASE WAIT FOR FURTHER INSTRUCTIONS!came out from the speakers with this automated man machine voice
sirens were going off and the phrase was again repeated! and it went on.
Students and teachers came out to the classroom to see whats going on and getting the class ready!
As for what was happening in LG11, the whole class was laughing and going like OH MY GOD! as the birthday girl can out of the classroom to try to reach the phone to call the office but her efforts were in vain, she was running and zooming up the steps and back down.
at one point, the sirens went off louder and a different sentence was coming out this time
EMERGENCY! EMERGENCY! PLEASE EVACUATE THE BUILDING!our whole class burst into laughter and not moving out from the classroom as we watch the other kids running out of the building! at last we were forced to leave the building as well!
Outside, the teachers started asking around and due to the story many burst into laughter. The news spreaded like wild fire across the entire foundation. And the funniest thing that made it classic was that
THE BIRTHDAY GIRL WAS OUR TEACHER!The fire brigade came and as the alarm did indicate where the fire was, the fireman was able to identify the source of the "fire" as we didnt take anything out from the classroom!
While waiting at the evacuation site, you could see the news spreading as people from there and there started laughing out so loudly. At one point, the teacher that had the title of fire alarm setting off king - some male teacher who sets off the alarm because he forgot his toast some time ago - told the entire crowd that there was a party at LG 11 and ask all of the people to join(but they didnt appear). And thus, he handed his crown to our teacher, Claudia.
After we were allowed to go back to our classrooms, we started to pick up the mood again and had a great party. All the food was just filling and really really yummy that we have so much left overs!
