The temperature is rising, the heat is warming up and the water is the place you really wanna be. Time to stock up on sun screen as well as cool water. The summer is merely kicked in. And the temperature for toay is
40 degree celcius. Yup, even higher than your body temperature... So you do feel the pinch in your skin when you're outside. So drink lotsa water and try to keep away from the sun. Hahaha, or minimise it!
But 40 is just the beginning, it is expected to rise to 44 tomorrow! Now that is intense! And its a sunday, bet the beaches will be packed. Or house will consume more electircity due to the full blast air conditioning. But even at full blast, the heat somehow still prove that it is superior by providing a warm environment too warm for a good night's sleep.
Its freaking hot out there and I had to travel my way from Burwood to Padstow as I need to get something from there. It would normally take about 20 minutes and when systems crash, the uncoordinated happens and it took me 2 freakin hours to get there.
Due to some track work at the Padstow station, there was a system break down in the whole East Hills line. The irritating thing is that not all the stations were inform about the situation. From Burwood I was asked to take a ride to Redfern and change to another train, that was pretty normal. But at Redfern, I asked them station master how do I get to Padstow as there were 12 platforms. He told me that they are not running today, the trains are not running. I have to take a ride to Central. At central, I waited for my ride that never came. And the trains were staying put on the train line for at least 30 minutes. I got pissed when the second train arrive and wasnt going to my destination and it will be there for another 30 minutes. What the heck!
Went up to the station master to ask why isnt my train coming and he goes. You gotta take a train ride to Skydeham! Another detour! What is this, Amazing Race - Padstow! Heaps of detour and transit. Skydeham is the third station after Redferm on the East Hills Line. I made a big circle. Dammit!
Upon arrival at Skydeham station, I was pisssed. I asked them how do I get to Padstow. They went, I give up, I seriously have no idea as well. Wow, with the heat at 40 degree celcius, man, I was really boiling up. Thank god an old couple over heard me and told me that you have to take a bus ride. From there I arrive at Padstow. Pheeewwwwfffff
Anyway the previous day, Friday, it was the staff enrichment day that means no classes for all of us. Now then it finally provided me time to catch up with my friends who are not in the same course as me. That is the down side of staying so far from campus, you're always missing out! When they ask you out for dinner, you have to turn them down as you know that there isnt time as the last bus back home is like at 7.30pm!
We head down to Bondi, my my my, it was a great day to beach! The waves were all right and the water was just fine and it wasnt as hot as today! And I did manage to have 2 fried Mars bars, something really famous at Bondi Beach! The last time I had it was 6 years ago. And I could still recognise the shop. Woooo...

At the end of the day, I had dinner with Wendy, and Jess with some of Wendy's collegues. Met some really interesting people like Kevin. Hahaha... it was a party where there was half a lamb. Litterally. So we had various kinds of food at this Turkish restaurant but it was in China Town. It didnt really have that Turkish touch as I think the owners are mix with chinese... But it was an awesome dinner. We event went to Lindt for ice cream... Yummy!
