For the pass few days the weather has been the ideal beaching weather, but just for 3 days or so. If you think its weird to have the temperature "plunge" from 44 degree Celcius on Sunday to 20 degree Celcius to 18 degree Celcius on Tuesday with whole day drizzles.... All I can say is "WELCOME TO SYDNEY!"
This is the Sydney weather, the weather will rise till its off the peak and then I'll suddenly be cold the following day. So yea, time to wear those jackets... The temperature is fine but the rain just makes it freezing. Brrrrrrr.
On another unrelated news, I bet most of you have read about the fire in victoria. It is in the rural areas, so people in Melbourne and Sydney are not affected by it. But it really is a tragedy! It is claimed that arsonists had set off the inferno and it is filed as mass murder! It is an outrage I cry! To see life's perished in blazes, homes lost! As we seat here complaining that the heat is burning, people there are being burnt literally!
Even Queen Elizabeth the second has showed her condolences by holding a royal statement! The people who started the flames are without a doubt the lowest creature on Earth! Heartless!
The fire was travelling at 100KM/h. It covered 14Km in just 4 minutes, that with the wind, a large area of land is burnt, bringing ashes and debris everywhere. Claiming lives and houses.
As Australia is still aiding the flood up at Queensland which is the size of Southern Australia, this happens! Insurance and aids are going frantic! So I urge you pray for them all! Pray that everything will be alright! Pray that a miracle happen and silence give to those who became victims. Give them not only physical and financial support but mental support if possible as this is like trauma!
All we can pray is that the showers we have here in Sydney may travel and aid the fireman in controlling the fire. That is what we want, MIRACLES!
Oh yea, a happy news, I've had my first connect group for church dinner! And I finally met some of my connect group brothers. They come from various countries, there is Alex and Adam from US, Sebastian from Columbia, Jamie, James, David, Sam, Brian from Australia and Seumas(me) from Malaysia! And it is expected to grow even more as this connect group is rather new. And to no surprise, I am again the youngest among all! hahaha
But yea, they are a bunch of really cool friends and they indeed have a strong passion in Christ. I really look forward to learning from them as well as spending time with them!
