According to the previous post, I did mention that I was heading down to the city.. And Sydney City here we come...
So like a tourist, I head on down to Padstow station to take a train ride that took about 40 minutes to Town Hall. Right out of the Town Hall station, it is actually a shopping area. In fact, the whole city was a shopping district. From George Street, Oxford Street, Kent Street.....

On Greorge Street, I was walking with my aunt and she took me to this shop called Surf n Dive which she said all the youth here like to go to.. It is like your typical Quiksilver shop back home... I was looking at the sales rack, and my my my, they are so much cheaper compared to those back home.. So as I was seaching, I manage to find 3 tees... I loved them all once I tried them on...
And started to have a "grude" on my aunt.. going like "Why did you bring me here, see, now have to spend some money... hahaha" .... but it was just a joke... since I cant take all, I had to resort to taking only one. And it was a hard choice as there was 1 green shirt that I wanted as it is part of the new style I'm trying to get into. Bright colours.
So after coming out from the shop we head on down to Queen Victoria Building(QVB) which is like one of the top notch shopping center which is in a rather hold colonial building. I did see a lovely vest in Marcs but then, due to the conversion rate, I ought to scrap that thought.

We went around the mall checking out for a dress fit for a wedding for my aunt. From shops to shops. Mid-range to High-end... But we ended up buying nothing as there werent many to choose from.. As it is summer, they have too much summer dresses...
We head on down to the food court which was so not like Malaysian food courts where you have a vast of everything. Over here, there are a lot of food chains. Japanese, Sandwiches, Juice Boost, Kebabs.....
As we waited for Joseph, we head on down to Krispy Kreme! WEEEEEE! Having my original glazed! YUMMY! Finally a tall guy in orange appeared and this time I mange to see him .

We head on down to the George Street Cinema, there is this Korean hot plate grill lunch just around the corner called Pepper Lunch. Accordign to J, this is where all the "asian youth" come for lunch. Wow, places a labelled to certain clicks around this place... hahahaha....
Right after lunch, we went seperate places, me with Joseph went on down all the way to Darling Harbour! Woo, it has been a while since I was there. But seriously there hasnt been much change but seriously it doesnt look out-dated at all.. Still rather nice. It really brought back memories, nice ones from my previous trip...
We walked around Darling Harbour and did a little sight seeing before we head on a long journey by FOOT to Sydney Opera House. We walked all the way along Kent Street, one of the longest street in the city. And boy were the feet aching... Hahaha... Not till we started seeing Sydney Habour Bridge in front of us and soon the Opera House came into view too....

Before we got my long craved Gelatto. We head on down to Joe Harber's Office... met him up for his really short lunch break. He really is the Energizer Bunny, working non stop in this very quiet office building. We did a very short catch up before going down for some Gelatto a Circular Quay.... But we do have the entire year to catch up on. I'll be at his wedding anyway.

After dropping Joe back to his office. J and I walked pass the Botanical Gardens to arrive a Sydney Opera House. The view were nice and the pitures you take look fit to appear on a post card....

As we arrived a the Opera House, we took marvelous photos, just like any other tourist. And I am proud to say that I have played the PIANO at THE OPERA HOUSE!

From the Opera House, we did get a good view of Sydney Harbour Bridge

Soon after my little tour we headed back to Padstow and met up with Jason before heading back home...
I retired rather early due to the really restless me.
It really feels weird that I'm here for a year for studies as I still feel like Im here for holiday and will be home in 2 weeks time. Seriously! It really hasnt sunk in yet, maybe when school starts all might be clearer to me...
Anyway, heading down to Cronulla Beach later today...
