Hey guess, sorry I havent updated this blog due to the traveling I've been doing. Since my last post most of the time was spent with the family(extended). Did meet some friends that mean a lot to me and even went to Pesta(first time there and boy boy boy it was FUN!)! Was preparing for the CHRISTMAS EVE PARTY! and boy it went well. I was so scared I didnt do a good job because I was left in charge of it this year. Thankfully everyone loved the food. That was a huge relief!
The party was a blast, I got really nice presents. Seriously.
Right after the party which ended about 4 something, I had a really really short nap. Woke up around 1 hour later to get ready to leave for the airport and off to TAIWAN! (so if you couldnt send messages in or contact me or there was no reply, it was all due to this. sorry guys)
By the time we arrived in Taiwan, I was beat. BEAT! But the tour must go on. We arrived in Kao Shiong and slowly traveled up to Taipei in our 7 day trip.
We visited many interesting places and there were many night markets to explore. But to be honest, street side shops dont sell cheap. i can get something from Top Man at the same price. What the heck! But there were many trend setting stuff. But because it was winter, many shops were selling winter clothing which isnt much of a use back in Malaysia.
We even had a farm stay, but when I say farm, it is not your ordinary farm though, ofcourse it was a recreational farm went for guest, with chalets and all. There were even cute piglets on the farm. But the thing that was the spotlight for that place was its hot springs. Got a dip in them and spa treatment. Not bad for a farm.
The hotels got better, bigger and so much nicer as we slowly move up to Taipei. Wooo.
Now, about food, Taipei is famous for its snacks and it didnt let me down, like the beef noodles. But one thing is for sure, nothing can beat Malaysian food as it is still the top of the list as they are always rich in taste.
Most of the time was shopping and shopping but we didnt really shop at the night markets but at the real retail stores as you can compare the price and purchase. I really love what I bought :)
So, as I got back to Penang on a Cathay Pacific flight a few hours ago, I realised that time passes by so fast and during my trip I missed my Peps. And noticed that on my next flight which is around 2 weeks plus, I will be leaving Malaysia and starting anew. It will be a new way of life and a totally different place and a chance for a new beginning.
I'm gonna miss heaps of stuff some a lot, some just mere, but I surely will be missing a lot of things. -NEW YEAR'S BLUES-
So as I count down the days before I will be at the airport again. I'm gonna cherish all the time we have.
What a way to sign off for year 2008 but first let me have a short synopsis about it:
This year, I met the best and the worst things by far. Met awesome new people, lost some of last year's (SAD THING), met shit head people and also kicked out some. Hahaha. To be frank, this year wasnt the easy way but thankfully it wasnt, as it made me better, stronger and much more matured. Made me see things in a different way, a better way. Though there were sour and bitter moments, but the outcome was sweet. I had a sweet treat of knowledge at the end. I stayed on on many occasions even though it dreaded me, but I did learn, did earn at the end. I dont regret 2008, in fact I'm happy it happened. It's called GROWING-UP.
As 2008 ends, I invite all of you back into my life in 2009. and may many many many good things happen in 2009
HAPPY NEW YEAR 2009

Thanks to Gerald, really a genuine thank you from the heart for introducing this song to me.. Its so nice... it is now another reason why i just love Leona Lewis
This is Leona Lewis' Run, it was originally Snow Patrol's single till Leona stole the show when she sang this song as a guest on X-Factor and now it is a cover song.
Here is the video
I'll sing it One last time for you Then we really have to go You've been the only thing That's right In all I've done
And I can barely look at you But every single time I do I know we'll make it anywhere Away from here
Light up, light up As if you have a choice Even if you cannot hear my voice I'll be right beside you dear
Louder louder And we'll run for our lives I can hardly speak I understand Why you Can't raise your voice to say
To think I might not see those eyes Makes it so hard not to cry And as we say Our long goodbye I nearly do
Light up, light up As if you have a choice Even if you cannot hear my voice I'll be right beside you dear
Louder louder And we'll run for our lives I can hardly speak I understand Why you Can't raise your voice to say

For the pass few days it has been crazy...
I have been to Gurney Plaza for the pass 4 days or so, and everytime I'm there, I'll get to watch this stupid Christmas photo show there, it is by Power Rangers : Mystic Force... oOo, their performance were "AWESOME" *Rolls Eyes*. But at least it got those little kids jumping up and down, shouting for more more more!
Anyway, for the pass few days, it has been crazy, I've been out with my close friends, school mates - high school, primary and even kindergarden(seriously)! And some of the days we would hang out from day to night and rather late, but I'm learning to be responsible and I'm doing it rather well, staying away from ALL the vices. I'm strong!
Anyway, I got my P License the other day, and have been driving just a little. 1st was driving my mum and sisters plus 2 cousins from my place to Island Plaza. But tonight, since my friends got tipsy while we were hanging out in Ferringhi, I had to drive them down, put them back home and get my another friend to drop me home. It was cool, I am an ok driver... no need to be fast, safety is the main concern!
The next few days will be even more hectic with more people to meet as I'm trying to meet everyone before I leave Penang, so that means I'm very packed, sometimes I have to meet almost all that I schedule to meet different people at different time of the day. But sometimes, we can just hang out till late at night as we have so much in common, that is why we are FRIENDS.
And I do admit, hell yeah I'm gonna miss them. I'll even miss hating people I hate... hahaha...
so that concludes for the pass few days...
Oh yea, since my sister is back, we have been having family dinners as in all five of us are around and includes the extended family, and for two consecutive nights we had BUFFET! Once was Korean the other was Japanese. I'm really gaining some weight, really need to cut down on the eating. Even some people went, oh my you GREW as in weight...
Time to work out, havent been doing that since exams really kick in a while ago...
Anyway,
Happy Holidays Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year

I STAY IN LOVE
Oh baby Baby, I stay in love with you
Dying inside cause I can't stand it Make or break up Can't take this madness We don't even really know why All I know is baby I try and try so hard To keep our love alive
If you dont' know me at this point Then I highly doubt you ever will I really need you to give me That unconditional love I used to feel It's no mistaking We're just erasing From our hearts and minds
And I know we said let go But I kept on hanging on Inside I know it's over You're really gone It's killing me Cause there ain't nothing That I can do Baby, I stay in love with you
And I keep on telling myself That you'll come back around And I try to front like "Oh well" Each time you let me down See I can't get over you now No matter what I do But baby, baby I stay in love with you
Na na na na na na na na na Na na na na na na na na na Na na na na na na na na na Baby, I stay in love with you
It cuts so deep It hurts down to my soul My friends tell me I ain't the same no more We still need each other When we stumble and fall How we gon' act Like what we had Ain't nothin' at all now
Hey, what I wanna do is Ride shotgun next to you With the top down like we used to Hit the block Proud in the SUV We both know our heart is breaking Can we learn from our mistakes I can't last one moment alone Now go I know
We said let go But I kept on hanging on Inside I know it's over You're really gone It's killing me Cause there ain't nothing That I can do Baby, I stay in love with you
And I keep on telling myself That you'll come back around And I try to front like "Oh well" Each time you let me down See I can't get over you Now no matter what I do Baby, baby I stay in love with you
We said let go But I kept on hanging on Inside I know it's over You're really gone It's killing me Cause there ain't nothing That I can do Baby, I stay in love with you
And I keep on telling myself That you'll come back around And I try to front like "Oh well" Each time you let me down See I can't get over you Now no matter what I do But baby, baby I stay in love with you
Was out of computer for a few days... talking about that... The mother board of my own computer crashed and is in the workshop... And all my stuff are there... now my handphone and camera memory are so full as I havent got the chance upload them in the computer! Bugger!
Friday - 5dec08,
We went down to KL by car, with Haur, Xian, Qing, Wendy, Jess and I squeezing our asses into a 5 seater-car and on a 4 hour journey! Oh, imagine the aches and pains, and the constant changing of positions to get the right one, but since there were four of us at the back, there was no right one!
Since the radio doesnt work very well along the highway, we shut the radio up and had our own radio station. I got into my DJ mood and with the help of my phone and its speakers, I started the Seumas.Fm featuring me, DJ Seumas as the host. There were no commercials! But great music. We even made it so real and funny that we even had the info-traffic(minus Precilla Patrick)... We(or only me) tried to mimic air stewards aboard aircrafts during take off and landing... It was totally hilarious and entertaining... I'm glad I could bring laughs!
We arrived somewhere in the evening and went to Pyramids as we were staying so close to it, just next door - we were staying at Sunway Hotel. The room was nice and the place was comfy - but not as grand as where my parents were.... they were staying in The Venetian in Macao(they joined us a little later)
We had dinner at Canton Bay, somewhere in Pyramids and boy did that place SUCK! It was crap and expensive... servings were small and food werent tasty! bad service too! I could bitch all day long about it!
After that, did light shopping, mostly to stock up on food for the hotel room... Got a phone call, and boy my friends and relatives were in Pyramid and asked me out on a movie.. We went to watch Wild Child starring Emma Roberts.... It wasnt a bad movie, it was rather amusing but sometimes predictable...
After movies, we went to a cafe to have some drinks... listen to music that came from yonder...
As the night went by, it wasnt young any more... I was sent back to my room and slipped into bed....
Saturday - 6Dec08,
Had to wake up early in the morning, went down to the lobby to have breakfast and rush to prepare for the Morning Tea ceremony of Ching's Wedding. Rush Rush Rush... Woo, luckily I got there in time to open the door for the groom and claiming my ang pow... WOOO, anyway, the proceeding proceeded to the suite of the bride... Again, the sisters of the bride or should i say the bride's maids were bullying the Heng Tais(Best Men)... This time, the task were even harder as before....
But they manage to get through...
-Fast forward-
After they claimed the bride, we were all taken to the Groom's place.. It was nice and big :D
-Fast forward-
After we got back from his place, Jason and I went down to Summit USJ to meet up with Gerald as he had a charity food fair there and I was there to support, see, what a nice friend :P
I got a little mad as Gerald was suppose to drop me back to my hotel in time to get ready for the Wedding Dinner.... But luckily I didnt lose my cool... but did bitch a little...
Got back to the Hotel to prepare for the Dinner...
It was a nice Dinner...
During the dinner there were some intervals and we(cousins) spent a lot of time taking lots and lots of nice photos!
(Sorry there are just too much to say)
After The wedding went to Euphoria, Ministry of Sound, London! Club man club... we(the cousins and the best men and the bride and groom) club the night away into the wee hours, like 3 something...
Sunday - 7Dec08
Had to wake up earlier than the whole crew... I had to leave back for Klang for another wedding... wow, it was really tiring, especially when I slept late last night..
Packed my stuff and hurried out of the room, dragging piggy-half-asleep Shannon out and to the lobby to meet my parents. As we waited for my uncle to come, my mother insisted that we cam-whore around the lobby and luckily I had my shades on as my eyes were red due to the sleepless nights... well, i think late hours...
So came my uncle... He drove us back to the Klang and right to the groom's house.. My cousin brought his bride home, and that means no time to rest... more reasons to stay awake.. maybe I should have tried Mr. Bean's tooth pick trick! putting them on my eyes...
After the morning tea ceremony, my cousin's insisted that I followed them to do some last minute shopping, so I went, sacrificing my afternoon nap! We went to the biggest Jusco in South East Asia, which was located in Bukit Tinggi! It was my first time there and boy I was impress...
But we didnt spend much time there, Kim just got herself fake eyelashes and some lip gloss.. Right after that, together with Fang Fang and I, the three stupiaks went to a saloon to meet up with RuShien... OMG! I shouldnt have followed... They did their hair and boy it was long.. one wash took so long.. and I cant believe they had to wait...
And whats more, I had to prepare for tonight's wedding ceremony as I was the emcee! I was there like half a sleep, it got boring and boring-er! I was just about to jump at them from my seat! I mean, if it is taking so long, we should have went somewhere else! But luckily I found some entertainment as I was just about to murder them! So ladies, count your blessing, or i would have made an ugly scene!
I was a little late to the wedding, thanks to Kim! She had to do her make up on and on! Tried to make her eyes look big, but complete failure, she looked more like a emo girl! Anyway, we arrived around 7.30pm, 30 minutes later than the time I was suppose to arrive!
Panicked as it was so unprofessional of me to come late... so I kinda scattered as I prepared! But luckily things went well at the opening! But to be honest, there were so many last minute changes! SO MANY!
And it was a nightmare! Just like when I had my radio show some time ago, I nearly lost my voice! But this was milder though, but I was to stay on stage for a longer while! I tried to find for sweets such as the godly - Hacks. Which helped me during the Radio Show! But no, there were no such things! So i tried Lemon Tea... And thank God it worked only a little, but it got me through the night..
But I had to speak softly as I was afraid I might pitch!
So by the end of the night, my cousins still wanted to go for Karaoke, but I was just too tired, so I had to turn them down and I was glad I did!
Monday - 9Dec08
Woke up a little early as I already planned to hang out with some of my cousins (Fang and her BF, Shien and Kelly with her BF) at 1U! wooo, woke up got ready and went out!
Didnt really shop much, but I did have a great lunch and Carl's Junior! It serves really nice, maybe big, awesome burgers! It is a must try if you are there!
After that, I didnt shop much, as I didnt have my mum around.. But there was this FCUK jeans on sale... but I'll get it when I go back down to KL... I will be back! wakakaka
After 1U, I went back to get my stuff and went off to the airport and off back to Penang!

It has been a blast thus far...
Right after SPM, it was fun none-stop, sometimes it really gets the toll on you... Makes you feel beat. Since the last paper, it was plans none stop. Went shopping for many days, not stopping. Used up a rather big load of money, even the inflation doesnt scare us(me and my cousins). Getting new things really calms the soul, like giving treats to a puppy who had done a trick... I think.(but not when the bill is totaled)
Anyway, I've been so pack, that I never had a day that didnt involved a plan. Even my organisers are getting filled in with heaps of stuff everyday. I had to write them on my calendar, my organiser, and also key it into my phone. And to be honest all plans were executed really well. I really enjoyed myself. Sometimes, there were changes to the original plans - cancellations and reschedules -, but never stopped the flow of events.
Even though you plan out everything already and have a day or two empty (maybe to rest) but somehow I always get a phone call or someone calls up for a last minute outing. And I always said yes. So there werent any empty days where I stayed home all day.
Sometimes some of the event were scheduled on the same day and I was able to arrange them nicely. So I can go out with a bunch in the morning, another in the afternoon and someone else at night! Wow. But sorry to some people as you guys came late and I wasnt able to put a slot up for you... I had to pass, but thanks for the invite...
I know that I'm leaving Malaysia soon, so I am taking very opportunity to spend time with everyone if possible. I'll be down in KL from tomorrow(5dec) till Tuesday(9dec). Even it is not the same state. I'm packed! Non-stop man! 6,7,8 dec have an event EACH! and then, in the intervals, like noon or night, I am meeting heaps of people... hope they all do turn up! I really cant wait to meet my friends.. have some more FUN!
So technically, I'm having too much fun for one person... but then I still can handle it
I'm all scheduled way up till 17 January, right before I leave... We have places like Taiwan and Singapore on the list as well... Might add up even more... But then, I will still be planning more stuff that includes my friends...
Busy Busy Busy!!!!!!!

It is ok to plan for the future. Set your pathways, and create many many choices for yourself. It is undoubtedly a good move. But to be honest, it sure brings a headache, especially when you're in a junction where you can only choose one way to go.
I was caught in the twilight of my future for a rather long period than usual. And i can say it got me nausea.
It all started months ago, even before my trial exams. I was already planning to join my other cousins in Australia. And since my family are Permanent Residents, it was like one of the major choices, compared to UK and other parts of the world.
Dad and I went to an education fair and we checked out a couple of schools especially foundations in various colleges around Australia. The first question we would ask is "Are PRs allowed to do foundation?". But we would get a NO! After trying a few places, we got tired as the answers were all the same. We didnt bother asking the remaining ones.
I wanted to do Dentistry as it is my first choice followed by Medicine. And foundation would be easier as the exams are easier compared to Year 12 in Australia. But then the con for foundation is that you would have a much more limited choices of Universities. You are most likely to get into the Uni where the foundation programme is offered.
Later, there was a source that told us about UNSW offering foundation to PRs and Citizen on a condition that they have never been in any kind Australian Education System. We were unsure at first so we went to check it out. And it somehow turned out true. It was really nice to know that. But (there is always a but) the thing is UNSW has no Dentistry only Medicine.
Even though it was such. We thought it would be a good pathway. As I stand a better chance to Medicine through this. And if I'm really interested in Dentistry, I can change courses to Dentistry. And another thing is that there is only 3 Unis in Australia offering Dentistry as a undergrad programme. If I do manage to get into Medicine, it would be easier to branch off after the first year of medic if I'm really interested as they will see me as a First year medic student.
So, we went to apply, done all my procedures. Did this, did that. I was accepted. But later on there was a twist. They soon revoked my acceptance letter and said that there is a policy, 'Who so ever is a PR and doing Foundation and is aiming for medicine cannot be accepted'. I was devastated, I had already imagine myself as a student over there. YEAH, it was a pain in the arse!
So then, the other choice, was to opt back to the sure accepted first plan. Which was to do year 12 in a local high school. The pros were that I can do it for free and that I would have a wider choice of Unis. As for the cons, it is harder and I have to wear uniforms....hahahaha
Anyway, we checked out a few schools in Sydney - Cherrybrooke and also Pennant Hills - My dad was even in Australia checking them out as he visited my sister. And I was to live with my aunt. It was a rather easier process, as I could just sit back and relax, as a place is already there for me. Just do simple procedures. And the good things is that they cant say NO!
So I did my job by filling in the application with some good references and they were sent to the schools. But I didnt get a reply from either of them. But no worries, even if I get there late and I'm staying in the area, they are forced to accept me.
So it was the metal part that was taking a toll on me. I started to imagine my future and settle out the possible outcomes. It was rather gruesome. I was lethargic after every deep thinking. But then I came to a fast conclusion that I was soon to be a Year 12 student. I was so planning to be, but I still wanted to be a foundation student.
So days went by, weeks, and even months, and right after my SPM! I mean that afternoon after the last paper. I had a phone call. I picked it up, and the agent that was in charge of my application for the foundation for UNSW was very enthusiastic and joyful. She told me she had good news and I asked what was it. "UNSW finally abolished the policy and you can do the foundation. They are offering you a Medic Foundation!". She also asked if I was interested.
Hell yeah I was, I discussed it with my parents and my my my, they were as happy as I am too. I guess due to the economy slow down, the Uni is trying to get any students they can get. And my case was brought up to the board of directors and they approved of me. It was joy! My fees were even waivered!
I even got a letter from UNSW asking me if I was still interested and explained the current situation. It was euphoric! I asked a few questions, got my things finalized and now, I'm off to UNSW!
I was really thankful, have to thank everyone in the process of making it possible and also GOD. He made it possible, it was like a miracle! Like my aunt said, "Better than striking lottery!" He made the impossible, possible - literally!
So now the thing to do is to change my flight ticket, that means I dont get to stay for Chinese New Year as class starts on the 23rd of January! And start packing which is a daunting process!
So come to think of it. No matter what you plan, how many pathways you make possible. It all comes down to fate and destiny. If you are destined to get it you get it. But to keep options open is still a very good thing!
But I have to say that this whole process, accepted than rejected than reaccepted again was like an epiphany for me. Now I'll appreciate this rare opportunity! And if I do get into Medic, that would be there cherry on top of the cream!
Wish me luck.....
SYNDEY, UNSW, HERE I COME
flying the Airbus A380 on the 17 of January 2008
do send me off guys :D

I have been absent from the blogging world for a long hiatus and finally I had the time to finally sit down by the computer and do a little update with my blog. Due to the constant events popping up, a lot has happened in the pass few months or at least since the last update...
I really have been gone for a period already, haven't I?
Anyway, here are some of the brief high lights:
My 17th Birthday 27OCT08
I was given a liberty to plan my own birthday party even though I was so close to having my SPM. As I know I'll be leaving for Down Under anytime soon, I thought it would be really great to have some of my friends over for a little party. And since my dad and elder sister were in Sydney, I only had my mum and younger sister as my guest if my friends werent around. Now, how can a party be great with only 3 people. So in came the reinforcements, which are the original 4, ME, GERALD, JOEL, CHUN KIT , they are undoubtedly my closest mates through my high school years. I know, I know, I'm going to be very friend-sick when I leave.
The party was planned a few days prior to it and with a hard decision, I finally ended up having dinner in Evergreen Laurel buffet. It turned out to be better than I expected, the food was great, I even got a free cake and also had my meal ON THE HOUSE! But whatever it is, it is the people that were there to celebrate my day was the important thing.
And also thanks to all those who wished me. It was really awesome. It made my day brighter.
After the party was over, Joel drove us four out for a little drink at Starbucks. Soon after we took a stroll around Gurney Drive. It was really a night to remember. But I really wish there were more people. I would have loved it if everyone could make it, but of course money is of the matter. But to conclude it, it really was a fantastic evening.
SCHOOL GRADUATION 31OCT08
Finally, after 5 years of torment in Chung Ling High, I graduated like the rest of the students, with top honours? hahaha, as if. Anyway, the ceremony was simple, just like every other graduation ceremony. Speech after speech by all this "Very Idiotic People"(VIP). After their rumbling on and on, we had to endure a long line of people who have done super well in their studies and are receiving top honours - book vouchers :( Anyway, they werent a bunch of pretty handsome and cool people, so it wasnt interesting at all, not like a fashion show.
But the climax came when we started singing our graduation song and school anthem. Even though I've been in these walls(the school hall) for years, this is by far the best I've heard how the song was sung. It was full of energy, even was just fabulous. Even after the graduation ceremony came to an end, the teachers(MR Lye and MR Yeap) were singing to the students as we slowly joint in.
SPM Examinations 11NOV08 - 27NOV08 This is the event that took up most of my time. I was busy mugging - so not me. And I had to wake up early in the morning to go to school when all other students(non-fifth formers) were already on holiday. I was coming back from school when I saw my sister playing play station and I went, "Arent you going to school?" She replied, "I'm already on holiday!"
Now, that spoiled the mood. hahaha, I totally had ZERO holiday mood, I mean zero. But then time went by fast - the first week was over and then the second and then the third came following too. It was done and over with.
It was rather bearable. Ok, moderate :)
POST-SPM 27NOV08 - ???
Right after the last paper, a bunch of us. Me and my friends went out to finally have some fun. I mean real FUN! we went out and catch movies and did shopping.
We watched James Bond. To be honest, if you noticed, it the latest installment, Quantum of Solace, James Bond did not do his trademark "I'm Bond, James Bond!" at all!
Besides that, my cousins are slowly arriving in from overseas for holidays and most importantly Lam Wang Ching's(my cousin) wedding. Prior to the dinner ceremony, I had to bring many of them for shopping. And even bought some stuff for myself. We went shopping non-stop, nearly everyday. From morning till late evenings. But I had ample time, I didnt mind doing it, I loved it *wink*
Lam Wan Ching's Wedding 30Nov08 & 6Dec08
Till present time, We've only done the first ceremony which was on the 30 of November. The latter hasnt been done yet and it will be all the way in KL. So all of us over in Penang will be traveling down to the capital.
Everyone wore really nice for the morning tea ceremony and all went according to plan. I was asked to open the door and for that I got a big Ang Pow. Later on, Since the bride's maid will have to create obstacles for the groom and his best men in order for them to claim the bride, one of them was to entertain the guest. I and Jessica came up with some really nice dance moves for the song "Beat It" by Michael Jackson. And all went superb. They got the moves right and proceed to other task.
Some were easy, some were torment! but luckily, I'm on the brides side of the family. So we watch them do all those stupid task. I wonder during my wedding, what will I gotta do?
Anyway they got the bride at last and the afternoon was left to get ready for the night ceremony.
At the night ceremony, everyone wore really glamorous, I mean everyone pointing to our family - my uncles & aunts, parents, cousins. Seriously, we look like celebrities when we entered the restaurant.
During the ceremony, good food was served. Besides that the music selection was good, that it got our aunties and uncles up on their feet and dance on the dance floor. We cousins too joint in the fun!
As the night slowly came to a conclusion, it was really nice.......
This here is what I know bout me:
I'm Seumas(Shay-mas)
