The end of yet another term. School ended. What a term it has been! CRAZY! But, phew, glad I made it.
Anyway, as the school term ends, so did the season 7 of
American Idol. A great year it has been. The talents were sky high and I was totally hooked on this year compared to any other seasons, the finale was so awesome, that the awesome judge,
SIMON COWELL also agreed, here is a quote
"This is the first time, I didnt care who won". So as you all know, the final battle with guys of ONE name but TWO sizes! Woo, it was a huge struggle between them two who never had been in the bottom 3! The is just swell!
One whole season and were reaching the end. From millions who audition and now only two stand on this stage. Here are your IDOLS,
DAVID ARCHULETA and
DAVID COOK. A sparkling year it has been for IDOL.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The results are in. Winning by a wooping 12% of the total vote. America, you voted that
DAVID...DAVID... DAVID....DAVID COOK is your new American Idol!

WOO, I seriously dont know if I was satisfied with the results or not, because this year I supported both Davids all the way, well I started support for Cook a little later. At the beginning, the consistent
LITTLE DAVID was dominating the show and my ears till the rise of
BIG DAVID with this oh-so original cover versions of songs. It was a tight competition. I agree with Simon, I didnt care who won, they both are worth it.
To be honest. In the finals, I thought David Archuleta deviated it. All 3 rounds, I thought he outdone his rival. For sure that his vocal talents are way good. And American Idol could add
Ballad into its raging genre. But too bad, I think Cook's genre was more appealing to the Idol fans and maybe many of them wanted to avenge
Daughtry's lost two seasons ago. As you can see two "near" Idols who share the same genre with Cook -
alternative rock -
Bo Bice and
Daughtry never got crowned but they made it big. So I guess maybe its time to crown an Idol in the name of the fallen.
But all in all, it was worth watching all the way. Now, I'm sad that Idol ended. There is a vacant 1 hour in my week due to the absence of Idol. But no worries. Lately, I've been so hooked on to
GOSSIP GIRL - you know you love me, XOXO! Its really a great series. Really. Its up the good series wall together with
Ugly Betty, Grey's Anatomy, Friends.......(so much more)
LOVE TV, Its getting better and better.
ps: Cant wait for both Davids debut album!
