Home sweet home. Now I'm back after my Australian Advanture. Upon arrival, it was non-stop catching up with friends and mates... Man, the phone did not stop. Schedual here and there for outings, keeping me occupied before the Hong Kong trip kicks off. Went out with cousins and friends. But then, the phone was always the piriority, answering calls was fast. Then one night, I had to change my sim to check out something. In went the Optus sim card. Out came the Digi sim card which was also my line sim card. I placed the sim card on my bed. Checked my stuff and went to bed right away.
The next morning as I wanted to place the sim card back into my phone. Dang, I couldnt find it, maybe I might have kicked it off the bed. I spent the whole morning looking high and low for it. Even called for back up. It was like the whole room was ransacked. The bed sheets were taken off, but the search mission was left in vain.
I still believe it is there but then, nothing fruitfull have I seen. Dude, you know how much it feels to not have your primary sim with you. So now I'm using my Maxis sim, it is a prepaid. Man, I have to check my creds from time to time. It really is so killing...
When I went to the Digi shop, hoping I get a new sim card. They told me I could get it less than 24 hours and that there is no fees too it. I was delighted. Then they asked if the sim was registered under my name. *Froze*, It wasnt! It was registered under my dad and his company. As it is a Business Sim, it took more than walking in to obtain a replacement. Either you get the person there or you have to have an authorised letter!
I really didnt want to tell my parents I lost the sim, but ended up I had no choice but to confront them. So one day, the day before my parents went to Cambodia, I pulled my dad to the front of the shop, he went "I got no time, it is about 9pm and all the money changer is gonna close! I have to hurry!". Screw that, we were just 3 steps in front of the shop and you cant even take some time to go in and just arrange something. I was darn pissed, but what am I to do. This is what you get for being so clumsy.
Now, without much messages coming in from friends, life has been quieter. And now, I have to wait for my parents to come back first! SAD!
