Hey mates, I've been experiencing Australia with different view and style now. Have been away from the computer, bringing myself out into the streets and to the city and even the beach. Went up close and personal with the exotic wildlife of native Australia. Here are some of the higlights.
Friday (30-11-07)
It was about 7.30pm and I set off to church with my sister. At church I made a few new friends. Together we worshiped the Lord and had a great service, Aussie Style. After that, it was about 11.30pm and Eugene invited me out for dinner. With the green light from my sister, I got to experience the night life of Australia. With Phally, Eli, Susanna, Joanne, Eugene, Ruby and Sean, we went to Hawker's Corner at North Bridge. It was there I got to try the local scene of Malaysian Food. HAHAHA, I actted like a F.O.B(Fresh off the Bowl) Asian, that is what they call. Because I have nearly every sensation the food could give still in my tongue. After that, we had a little chat and went home. Eugene dropped me off.
Saturday(1-12-07)
Early in the morning, we were suppose to head north to Pinnacles and do some sand surfing and see the lime stones in the middle of the dessert, but that idea turned scrap. Most of it because I came back late and couldnt wake up and my dad said it would be better to do it if the whole family was here. So we went to my cousin's place. With her husband and two noisy daughters, but very naive, we went to the WA Wildlife Park. I thought it was suppose to be small, but surprisingly it was rather BIG! I am not reall a fan of zoos and stuff, but to be honest, everytime yu go to one, the feeling changes. It somehow turned exciting. The ticket didnt cost much but we got to see heaps of animals. Got up close and personal with the animals. Seriously there are many birds in Australia, but I rather see the land animals. Things that come with feathers dont really impress me, only the peacock(Male). Had the chance to touch animals like Kangaroos, Koalas, Goats, Sheep, Horse, Camel, Lama, Donkey, Rabits, Wombats, etc.
At the end of the day, no matter how many times you visit a zoo, no matter how many times you've sen the animals by sight, it really still is enjoyable.
Sunday(2-12-07)
After church service, I met up with Cynthia, my kindergarden friend which I havent see for about 10 years. We were only recently reconnected this year. And since she moved to Perth and I came here, might as well plan a meeting. Her dad came and pick me up from church and send us off to the bus stop. It was amazing that we can still recognise each other. I also made more friends, her schoolmates like Samantha(Sam) and Alan(Al).
Together we took the bus to the city of Perth. Went around the city and then went for lunch at Shanghai, we also had icey ice snow. After that we planned to go to Cottesloe, one of the best beach in Australia. Technically, beaches here are really nice, most of them are.
We took the train system to Cottesloe and went beach-ing Aussie Style! With Boardies, we hit the cold waves of the sea! Soak ourselves in the water and later warm up in the hot sun and play with the sand on the beach. Really gave us quality bonding.
The day ended when we went our seperate ways at the central station as each of us headed home for dinner. But bound to meet again, lets say next week??

I take back my words of claiming that Perth is th emost boring city in Australia. To be frank, the people you meet and to see everything in a different perspective makes it rather exciting. Well, Perth maybe boring but it does not provide the fun to you, not city on Earth can provide fun for you. So it is up to us to make the FUN! We create it, now that is more like it!
