It was Friday the 13, and most of it would think it was the black Friday and would be really unlucky... but i thought mine turn out fine, and better than fine! It was Awesome!
On the day itself, I had the glamorous student nights out, which was the Smart 2007 dinner, which a lot of students from various schools would attend, wearing lavishly and attending the dinner which was held at E&O Hotel. Just by hearing the name of that hotel, makes me go "Wow, they did a great job for the hotel this year!"
I arrived there a lil ealier than most of the people and spent sometime catching up with friends I've havent seen for quite some time, like Edwin, Kathrine, Edward, Joyce, Penny etc.
People who were attending that night were dressed in nice formal wear. Even I wasnt left out, i took some time choosing an outfit.... After all, it was one of the things in my social calender!
Soon after I was seated on my table and started a great conversation with my friends, Joel and Wen Qian finally arrived, they were seated next to me, and that was just awesome. Honestly, they both look stunning.
After coming back from a freshen up period, the dinner kicked off with Grace dancing 2 numbers, it was really entertaining. With different and a entourage of what i can say great Masters of ceremony, it made the night better!
After a few speeches, dinner was served, it was really quite a line up of food, not bad compared to other years when i was the MC. What do you expect, it was a better hotel indeed.
Again there were dances by Grace then there was a Fashion Show sponsored by Body Glove.... that must be the work of Benjamin, being able to pull something like this off... after all he's...(opps cant say)... it wasnt bad having some of them strut the stuff down the catwalk, but ofcoz some of them made laughs. LOL.
The night went on with a Drama, which I can say the actors werent bad, they were actually brilliant, especially Joyce, her acts were real, as specially when she does a spilt personality scene, that rocked! And man she could cry. Overall, it was a drama worth seeing!
Just one thing about the night, it was the medium they were using, normally they would be speaking in English like the last few years, but this year they opted for Chinese which some of the guest did not understand. And they had a lil problems with the mics, it kinda ruined a lot of stuff!
Awards were also included that nite....
....The dinner went on till late in the midnight, and after when it ended, it was a great photo opt, everyone took photos of poise! It really was stunning!
That night was something!
